This brochure is used to distribute in public settings to inform the public about the BiW4Teens Group Program that an organization will be providing for youth. The brochure includes details about what the program is, why it is important, how it works, and program benefits. There is a space for the sponsoring organization to write in dates and times the group will meet.

Part 1 - Causes and Consequences of Childhood Obesity
This training video helps program staff understand the health consequences of untreated childhood obesity. Staff learn about factors that contribute to the development of obesity in childhood. Staff will learn about 28 nutrition and lifestyle habits that increase a child's risk for becoming obese.
Part 2 - The Program: Segment 1 - Program Overview
During this training video program staff are given an overview of the program and learn about program outcomes and benefits pediatricians and youth have reported. Staff find out how BiW4Teens is helping meet the Healthy People 2030 objectives plus is reducing risk factors for developing chronic health conditions.
Part 2 - The Program: Segment 2 - Foundational Component
Program staff are provided a detailed explanation about the interventions that make up the behavior change component, which is the foundation of the program.
Part 2 - The Program: Segment 3 - Other Program Components
Program staff are provided an explanation concerning content and interventions that make up each of the following program components: Lifestyle Habits; Nutrition; Physical Activity; and Parent Training.
BiW4Teens Habits Explanation Cue Card
This cue cards helps the health coach explain how and why each nutrition and lifestyle habit in the program negatively or positively affect energy balance in youth. This information is also covering during Session 5 and 7 videos. Sometimes youth or parents need addition explanation or reminders about these key program habits. This cue card keeps the health coach prepared for these times when an extra explanation is needed.
