EARLY HEAD START

This video helps pregnant women understand how to eat healthy during pregnancy. They learn about dietary dangers that can harm their unborn child. They find out what kind of eating habits support good health for themselves and their unborn child.

 

 

This video lists the benefits of regular exercise during pregnancy. Women learn guidelines about the different types of exercise that are safe during pregnancy and situations when it is not safe for pregnant women to exercise.

 

 

This video helps pregnant women make an informed decision about how to feed their new baby when he or she is born. Women learn about a multitude of benefits that breastfeeding provides infants and moms.

 

 

During this video, women learn important information that will help them successfully breastfeed when their baby is born. The program content includes: 1) Communicating with all the right people before birth; 2) Correct latch; 3) Signs of infant hunger; 4) How often to nurse infant;5) Signs baby is getting enough to eat; and 6) Common breastfeeding positions.

HEAD START

This is a toolkit for parents with preschool age children. The program helps parents identify unhealthy habits that may be causing their child's BMI to go too high (causing an unhealthy weight). Parents then learn about healthy habits that support a healthy weight, plus they are provided with habit changes tools and resources which will enable parents to effectively help their child adapt healthier habits and achieve a healthier weight.
